My fault for not looking at the dimensions. This is a very small book. But I'm also disappointed that the Spanish portion doesn't have IPA but the English does. So even though this dictionary is published in English and one would be looking up Spanish, the pronunciation is not available for the Spanish but it is for the English. Weird.
This is TRULY a pocket dictionary. You can carry it in your pocket, daypack, briefcase, etc. No problem. The vocabulary is excellent for day-to-day needs. I probably bought my first copy in the 1960s. Make sure you write your name in ink on the outside. You don't want one of your buddies to walk off with it. I'll lend you my car and maybe my dog, but not this old friend.
Very useful for travel in Spanish speaking countries. Used it on a recent trip to Spain. Helpful to looking up unfamiliar terms. The size and tough binding make this a great pocket dictionary.
Love the size and the blue print for the vocab. I already own one of these that I keep at home but I wanted antother for my purse and car. Used it when I traveled in Chile & Argentina and very easy to carry around.

It's okay, just wish it was larger. I suppose this handy dictionary is for traveling, but I need one for class.
